24 Hours of Hockey is a charitable event. Four teams of 20 skaters play hockey for 24 consecutive hours in order to raise money for The Children's Hospital of Denver.

The Soap Box Derby is a youth program for children ages 8 to 17. Each driver must build their own car, with adult help, to compete in this race. Each racer gets an award just for participating with trophies given out to 1st through 5th place. The 1st place winner in each division gets to go to Akron, Ohio for the All-American Soap Box Derby in July 2008.
